SAP Specialist
We are currently seeking an experienced SD candidate skilled at project management and multi-tasking with good moderation & problem solving skills to support our North and South American offices.

As a functional specialist you will be involved in SD configuration, process design, technical documentation and training. Working in an inter-company environment, you must be skilled in pricing, sales order processing and invoicing. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who possesses 5+ years functional SD configuration experience with practical experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior structured SAP Project, presentation and consensus building skills along with a BS/BA are strongly pref’d. SAP ABAP debugging skills a plus.

Technical Writer
In this role you will create and develop written content for marketing communications instruments including: data sheets, brochures, catalogs, presentations, website pages, direct mail, e-newsletters, technical papers, press releases, articles, and advertisements. Learn basic product information including use and application of all Festo products. Research and learn the basic product features &benefits of our competitor’s products, through internal documentation and independent research, to effectively communicate the critical features, benefits, and differentiating characteristics of Festo products. Meet with product management, sales, and customers as needed to collect the supporting information required to develop and fulfill content objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university preferred. 6-8 years of B-to-B technical writing experience, preferably for a manufacturer of industrial components and systems. Proven ability Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and technical journal. Ability to write articles for publication using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Project leadership experience with the ability to direct the work of other team members. Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Production Supervisor
7:45 am to 4:15 pm
We are seeking a hands-on, working supervisor for our Special Application Services Production Dept. Ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who will oversee activities of employees in assembling parts, filling customer orders and directing the manufacture of our SA products. Prepares production schedules & estimates worker hour requirements for job completion; Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders; Confers with engineers to review work issues; Recommends/implements ways to improve efficiency of shop & quality of product; Analyses & resolves work problems; Provides technical support to both technicians & customers to resolve product related issues; Evaluates technicians’ job performance and conducts performance appraisals. Must be PC literate w/ thorough working knowledge of production processes. Professionalism a must. 3+ yrs related exp in a production environment req’d. College Degree w/ basic machine shop/electrical pneumatic background pref’d.

Product Management Specialist – Positioning
We are seeking a self-motivated professional to join our Product Management Group. In this fast-paced environment your responsibilities will include:

    • Working on Product launches
    • Performing technical training for Product Support, Application Engineers /CS Project engineers & conduct technical trainings for distributors – I/O & network implementation of all E-Drive products, basic CoDeSys (IEC61131-3) programming ( PLCopen function blocks / SoftMotion) of motion controllers
    • Providing technical support for pre-released and newly released products
    • Assisting in the implementation & maintenance of a Mechatronics / Applications room for positioning technology & conducting demonstrations for potential customers
    • Preparing competitor analysis and benefits training material
    • Working with NAFTA / E-Drives sales team in developing application notes, technology comparisons & other relevant sales tools
    • Assisting in the training of our system integrators (motion houses) on implementation & service aspects of complex motion solutions (kinematics /robot controller, linear motor systems)
    • Assisting in technical workshops and sales forums together with E-Drives sales team
    • Gathering market information, compile US market needs and communicate the requirements to HQ Germany or use for managing local development projects
    • Providing solutions support to Customer Solutions project engineers
    • Providing support & assistance to Didactic, in developing /conducting E-Drives training modules, and the Quality dept., in testing of motion controller or drives/motors
    • May be called to assist Product Support in troubleshooting complex problems or implementations

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task under pressure with 3+ years hands on experience as a project or service engineer implementing and troubleshooting PLC and motion control/servo systems. Must have a strong aptitude for PLC programming and in-depth knowledge of industrial electric wiring, safety and network implementation requirements. Hands-on experience in CoDeSys (IEC 61131-3) programming and vision systems & experience designing and building handling systems & robotics solutions a plus. BS/BE in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.

CNC Operators
7 am – 3:30 pm
3 pm – 11:30 pm

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our Manufacturing process team. Handle cost estimating; design tooling and fixtures to increase production output while maintaining quality; and set up ‘cell type’ manufacturing to minimize set-up time and to facilitate increased assembly reaction to customer needs. Provide concurrent engineering/design support. Computer proficiency and knowledge of CAD/CAM required with good communication skills. Two-year Technology degree or equivalent required.

Warehouse Operators
F/T - 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm
F/T – 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

We are seeking fast-paced, motivated candidates to join our team. Responsibilities include picking/packing & updating inventory records via a computerized inventory system; receiving shipments, parts, raw materials and routing to appropriate zones for production or stock; packing accurately via automated shipping system; and performing general warehouse duties.
