Pick & place modules
Handling modules for 2D pick & place applications with repositioning of parts at a 180° or 90° angle. As complete, link-guided, ready-to-install high-speed solutions or multi-axis modular system solutions exactly suited to the application; with electric or pneumatic drive or in combination.
Linear gantry
Motion in 2D: the linear gantry is a handling solution from the Festo multi-axis modular system for pick & place applications in which, for example, the Z axis can remain stationary above the area of activity. It features a high level of mechanical rigidity and sturdiness.
Electric tripod
3D high speed pick & place and free motion in 3D space: tripods combine the highest level of dynamic response with maximum rigidity and mechanical stability. This mechatronic system solution reduces design-based vibration and allows for high effective loads at maximum acceleration.
Cantilever axis
Pick & place in 3D space: the cantilever axis supplements 2 parallel axes in a pick & place function. This handling solution is used whenever handling functions have to be retracted from the working space and there is too little space for a conventional three-dimensional gantry.
Three-dimensional gantry
Motion in 3D: the three-dimensional gantry is a handling solution from the Festo multi-axis modular system that combines a linear gantry with two horizontal axes to enable practically free linear motion. In addition to a high level of rigidity and sturdiness, the three-dimensional gantry features long strokes and high effective loads.
Multi-axis modular systems
Multi-axis modular systems by Festo mean that all components and modules, including grippers and the required energy chain components, can be freely combined.
