The temperature sensor modules CPX-4AE-TC provide many analogue I/O channels for recording temperatures from -270 to 1,820 °C, and for type B, E, J, K, N, R, S and T thermocouples. For use in process automation or manufacturing processes.

Cold junction compensation

In order to obtain a precise measured value, we need to know the temperature at the sensor point of contact. An additional sensor attached to the M12 plug or on the manifold block's CageClamp identifies this temperature. Suitable PT1000 sensors can be ordered from Festo (CPX-WPT1000).
