How can I ask a question?
First of all, register or login, then select the community thread most fitting to your question to be discussed. Select the button “New Topic” and enter your question.

How do I register?
You register by clicking the button “Register” in the header. First you have to agree to the Community Rules and Policies. Then you will be asked to choose a user name, password, a security question/answer, and enter a valid e-mail address. And if the administrator has enabled it, enter the shown Captcha Code.

How do I search?
To quickly find a thread or post of interest anywhere on the communities, click on the “Search” link in the header. Then, type in the keyword or phrase you wish to search for.
For more control over the search, you can restrict your search to individual communities, or find posts or topics written by a specified user. You can also select how many results should be shown per page.

FAQs
Where can I get a new password?
Press the button “Login”, and at the right hand side you will find the button “Lost Password”. Press this button and enter your user name. The automatically created password will be sent to your e-mail address. After you login again with the automatically created password, please change the password immediately in the header “My Profile” >> “Change password”.
I lost my user name - what can I do?

How can I ask a question?

What information is required in a question?
Please select the most appropriate category. Tell the community the product type or description you are referring to.
How can I answer?
First of all, register or login. Secondly, select the question you want to answer. Press the button “Post Reply” and start to answer.
Can I add a new category?
New categories or new communities can only be added by the administrators. If there is a demand for a new category please send an e-mail to support_gb@festo.com.
How can I show that a post has been helpful?
Please open the topic and use the “Thank” function. Login is required to use this function.
How will I know when somebody answers to my question?
Please open your question using the “Edit” button and mark the control box “Watch this topic and receive notifications of activity via e-mail?” on the left hand side at the bottom.
My question has disappeared - what could be the reason?
Administrators reserve the right to move posts to the most appropriate category but will endeavour to indicate this. Furthermore Festo will delete any posts that are abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, slanderous, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.
There is a post that offends against the policies - what can I do?
Select the post and press the button “Report” at the end of the post on the right hand side and enter a short reason for reporting this post.
