VPPM-MPA enhances the CPX/MPA by adding various pneumatic and electrical functions

Integrated solution: VPPM on MPA
Integrated in the valve terminal CPX/MPA, the VPPM-MPA version provides access to common fieldbus protocols, including setpoint/actual value processing. The internal terminal control has a positive effect on process times because it reduces loads on the higher-order bus system.

Sturdy control characteristics without overloading the fieldbus/Ethernet – only from Festo. A globally unique combination of modules for recording and regulating pressure: VMPA-FB-PS and VPPM on one CPX-MPA. Together with the digital and analogue I/O modules, this significantly improves the production process
– thanks to the latest communications and system integration.


Multi-sensor control
The "multi-sensor control" is the only system of its type available on the market. Integrated sensors provide sturdy control characteristics, even in the small signal range, and it compensates for temperatures – which means drift-free regulation when the temperature changes. This is based on the principle of cascade control. The overall controlled system is divided into two smaller circuits that are easier to control. This greatly increases the control precision compared to conventional, simple "standard
controllers".

Remote diagnostics
The VPPM reports the pressure reached as an electrical signal. It can also diagnose a value that cannot be reached. All the values can be remotely controlled and monitored via the CPX terminal.
