Festo received the Energy Efficiency Award 2008 in recognition of the measures undertaken to increase energy efficiency at the company’s largest production and logistics site at St. Ingbert in Saarland
More than 100 companies worldwide were competing for the honour, making Festo's achievement all the more impressive. Second and third prize went to Daimler AG for setting up an energy management system at its plant in Untertürkheim, and Leiber GmbH for innovative technologies in the field of wastewater treatment.
