Festo wants to provide its customers with the best possible support for their quality goals in a competitive market. To achieve this, the quality of the processes and the products as well as the qualification of the employees must interact optimally.
Festo pursues this overarching understanding of quality under the term quality management. Fault-free products are only the basis for this. That is why Festo strives for a zero-defect target in all dimensions.
Festo Austria is the market leader in automation with pneumatics and electrics as well as technical education and training. The company is responsible for sales in Austria and is also the hub for the Group's Central and Eastern European activities and for product and system development. Festo Austria has 120 employees - in total Festo employs around 20,800 people in 60 countries.
Automation
With around 33,000 catalogue products in several hundred thousand variants, Festo plays a leading role worldwide in industrial and process automation. Every year, the group invests around 7% of its turnover (approx. 3.81 billion euros in 2022) in development and research. In Austria, Festo operates its own research unit for industrial control technology and a Technic and Application Center, which supports customers in their development activities.
Didactic
Whether technical training and further education, social skills or company-specific training, the company has been known for decades for its comprehensive, well-founded range of training courses. Practical orientation is always a top priority, because it is the practical implementation that turns theoretical knowledge into practical skills.
