2. Google Ads Conversion Tracking and Retargeting

As an AdWords customer, we use Google Conversion Tracking on some of our pages. This is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; 'Google'). This service enables Google AdWords to place a cookie on your computer (conversion cookie) if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies become invalid after 90 days and are not used for the purpose of personal identification.

If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie is still valid, we and Google can recognize the fact that someone has clicked on the ad and has been forwarded to our website. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced back via the websites of AdWords customers.

The information retrieved via the conversion cookie is used to prepare conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to make use of conversion tracking. AdWords customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and have thus been forwarded to a website which contains a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can block the use of cookies which would be required for tracking, for example via a browser setting that universally disables the automatic use of cookies. You can also disable the cookies for conversion tracking by configuring your browser so that cookies from the domain 'googleadservices.com' are blocked.

We use Remarketing technology provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; 'Google'). With this technology, users who have already visited our Internet pages and online services and who have shown an interest in our offers are addressed again through targeted advertising on the pages of the Google Partner Network.

Advertising is displayed using cookies. These files allow the behavior of users during their visit to the website to be analyzed and can then be used to generate targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising.

If you do not want to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable the use of cookies by Google by visiting the following page https://www.google.de/settings/ads. Alternatively, users can disable the use of cookies from third parties by visiting Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page. The 'do-not-track' setting of your browser is also taken into consideration.

By using our offers, you consent to the processing of data obtained by Google about yourself as described above and for the above-mentioned purpose. Please note that Google has its own data protection policies, which are independent of our own. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for the policies and procedures from Google. Before you use our website, please find out more about the Privacy policy from Google .

3. Bing Universal Event Tracking

We use Bing Universal Event Tracking ('UET'), a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond WA 98052-6399, USA ('Microsoft'). If you access our websites through ads delivered by Bing Ads, a cookie is placed on your computer. In addition, a UET tag is integrated on our websites. A UET tag is a code that is used in conjunction with the cookie to store pseudonymized data about website usage. Together with the cookie, the tag records pseudonymized data to track the actions you take after clicking on an ad from Bing Ads on our websites. Data collected includes time spent on the site, the areas of the site that were viewed as well as the ad that led you to the site. In addition, Microsoft can use cross-device tracking to track your usage across multiple electronic devices. The data collected is sent to a Microsoft server in the United States.

Bing Webmaster Tools: Bing Webmaster Tools from Microsoft stores cookies as well as so-called 'beacons' on your computer. Beacons, or tracking pixels, are small invisible graphics that can be used to register whether a web page has been accessed.

The purposes for which the data is processed: Bing Universal Event Tracking: UET enables us to track your activity on our websites if you have accessed our websites via ads from Bing Ads; this in turn enables us to improve our online content. Cross-device tracking allows Microsoft to display personalized ads.

Bing Webmaster Tools: This tool allows Microsoft to provide its Bing services and optimize search results.

Storage period and control options: Microsoft stores the data for a maximum period of 180 days. You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by disabling the use of cookies. Please be aware that this may limit the functionality of the relevant websites. You can disable cross-device tracking via this link.
