Proportional valves for medical devices

Control gases precisely with piezo technology

Modern valve technology, for example for ventilator breathing devices, helps to save the lives of many patients. We are aware of the responsibility and with our portfolio of valves for the efficient regulation and control of medical gases and fluids, we offer you the exact precision and safety that is demanded here – including maximum economic efficiency. In addition to air solenoid valves, we often use proportional valves with piezo technology for these applications.

Joint engineering as a success factor

We work closely with you to make your medical device ideas a reality. Our products are well-proven in medical devices and can be adjusted to your specific requirements. We understand the challenges you face and have extensive experience in medical technology providing components and solutions that are cost effective, safe and ready to install.

We have standard products that are well-proven in existing medical devices, specific designs for medical devices that expedite FDA approval, and provide design, development and fabrication in an ISO 13485 quality environment.

Optimal for medical technology: proportional valves with piezo technology

Piezo valves are suitable for controlling the pressure and flow rate of medical gases in mobile and patient-oriented applications because they are highly compact, silent and energy-saving. Thanks to the material properties of piezo ceramics, no energy is needed to maintain a constant flow, only to change the flow status. This prevents heat buildup.

Treatment systems

Oxygen therapy for mobile applications

In action:
Small and lightweight piezo valves regulate the gas flows and pressures that dispense oxygen in infinitely variable steps.

Stationary ventilation in clinical environments

In action:
Proportional valves control flow rate and pressure.

Dialysis

In action:
Piezo valves, media valves, pneumatic valves and proportional pressure control valves regulate and control fluid flows from the blood and dialysate stream.

Surgical tools

Eye surgery

In action:
Pneumatic control unit consisting of solenoid valves and piezo valves drive surgical tools, convey liquids or suction liquids with the aid of a vacuum.

Closed-loop control of fluid and gas flow on dental service units

In action:
Switching valves, proportional valves, pumps and compressors for regulating fluid and gas flows of a variety of independent treatment instruments.

Medical equipment

Medical mattresses for hospital beds

In action:
Piezo valves actuate chambers individually to regulate gas flow or pressure, quietly and efficiently.
