EuroSkills is the European championship for young people in non-academic vocational training. As a European umbrella organization, WorldSkills Europe works with its members and partners to make training attractive and promote it. In 2025, the European Championship of Professions will be held in the port city of Gdańsk in Poland. WorldSkills Europe relies on experienced partners. Festo is well-established in the field of innovation and problem-solving expertise in all areas of factory and process automation. The young specialists demonstrate all their talent and skills at the European Championships! In just a few days of competition, they call up the experience of intensive preparation. In the competition for gold, silver or bronze medals, all participants have been using components, software and learning systems from Festo Didactic since 2008. As a premium sponsor, Festo is equipping the two disciplines of mechatronics and industry 4.0 at EuroSkills Herning 2025 in Denmark with state-of-the-art competition equipment. With this commitment, Festo is specifically strengthening technical training. The Festo LX online portal offers teachers and students a user-friendly introduction to designing individual learning experiences. Numerous online courses, tasks, e-books and other learning materials for various technical areas help participants and trainers to prepare optimally for the championship. Real competition tasks from past WorldSkills competitions can be called up in Festo LX. In the future, the offer will be supplemented by further tasks after the respective events. As they work, students develop a sense of the level of achievement in the competitions.
For the first time in the history of EuroSkills, the event has a record number of registered participants - a milestone that makes the event a very special highlight. In total, impressive 597 young talents from all over Europe have confirmed their participation in Denmark. They will be demonstrating their skills in a variety of competitions. This extraordinary number of participants fills the organizers with great pride and underlines the importance and attractiveness of EuroSkills as a platform for young skilled workers.
