The OGGB gripper offers a real alternative to vacuum suction cups. Constructed according to the Bernoulli principle, it quietly transports thin, flexible and limp materials such as foil, paper or wood veneer. At the same time, however, it is fast, safe and precise – qualities that are also in demand when handling highly sensitive wafers.
Compressed air, pressed outwards through a tiny gap, creates a vacuum. It picks up the wafers gently and holds them reliably – with little contact, gently on the material and yet safely and quickly.
Minimal traces with maximum quality also make it ideal for the solar cell to deliver full performance: Inlets made of polymer ensure a non-marking grip – deformations, residues on the surface, cell stress and shadows are no longer an issue for you. Also available: stop surfaces made of elastomer for high lateral forces.
With the OGGB, pure compressed air is distributed over the surface of the wafer. The air flowing out at high speed creates a suction effect on the workpiece. This principle works very quietly and extremely reliably, since no dirt can penetrate the system. User-friendly, clean, gentle and reliable – simply OGGB.
The low-contact OGGB gripper is particularly suitable for transporting solar cells and wafers, but can also be used for handling foils, glass, circuit boards or thin-layer materials.
