You are an experienced professional, and a specialist in your field. You are committed and focused, and have often demonstrated your flexibility and ability to work in a team. You thrive on challenges. The natural next step in your career is applying with Festo.
I have been working as a Sales Engineer Didactic at Festo AG since the end of 2014. I am responsible for advising and selling educational solutions in the field of technical education and training for the whole of German-speaking Switzerland. It is exciting to contribute to the implementation of new training topics in this role.
Festo supports me in that I am able to organise my own working day. I work in a great team and the working environment throughout the company is very appreciative. The work location is very generously built and the infrastructure is state-of-the-art. Festo also offers the opportunity for continuous development. Particularly in the cutting-edge topics such as Industry 4.0/digitalisation, Festo places great value on further development.
Thanks to our universal learning concept I4.0, we have been able to implement some great projects in various educational institutions in recent years, from vocational schools to training centres and universities of applied sciences. It is also great that our department supports the Swiss vocational championships in automation, polymechanics and Industry 4.0 disciplines.

Human Resources is an important department in every company. I have been supporting the Festo Switzerland HR team since 2019 and am proud to be part of an ambitious and innovative family business. I like our corporate values (appreciative, far-sighted, determined, responsible and demanding) and the good cooperation among the individual teams. My job is to look after everything from A-Z around the life cycle of an employee. I like the fact that I can work independently and that I get to be involved in various projects.

I came to Festo in 2010 with the expectation of finding a new professional challenge. In Festo's Electric Automation, this opportunity presented itself to me and continues to do so every day. Automation is a fascinating industry. As a project engineer, I am confronted with different tasks from our customers every day. The complexity of the industries in which our customers operate is both exciting and challenging. One day, the special features of medical technology have to be taken into account, 10 minutes later a customer from the machine tool industry calls. One of our strengths is the team. Every member of the EA team is a generalist, but at the same time a specialist in a particular field. This allows us to optimally support customers in all aspects of electrical automation. The close cooperation with colleagues is enriching. I have my strengths in the area of software. Over the years, I've been able to acquire a wide range of expertise in this discipline. It is always a highlight when we are allowed to write entire programmes for subsystems for our customers. This way we can apply our knowledge to concrete applications, deepen our knowledge and gain new experiences and insights. The world of electrical automation is fast-moving and remains exciting. Festo offers me the opportunity to continue to be a part of this world in the future.

In August 2020, I joined the Festo family and started an apprenticeship as a businesswoman. During my 3-year apprenticeship, I will visit various departments. I started in the Customer Contact Centre, where I really like the contact with customers and the advice. I feel comfortable in the team and I enjoy working here. In the second year of my apprenticeship, I will visit the Didactic and Marketing departments. At the end, I have the opportunity to support the Finance team. My biggest success so far was my first telephone conversation with a customer. I am looking forward to the exciting and instructive years of my apprenticeship.
