The industry is undergoing a process of permanent and increasingly rapid change. In addition to basic technologies such as pneumatics, hydraulics and mechatronics, constant innovations are adding more and more areas of expertise in the field of factory automation. Industry 4.0-related technologies such as IT security, machine learning and energy efficiency are creating new opportunities and new challenges in the factory environment. Simply introducing these technologies is only half the battle. Well-trained specialists are and will remain the decisive factor in industrial production.
