L'impianto sviluppato da AS Automation assembla, a partire da 21singoli componenti diversi, più di 100 varianti di connettori con contatto di protezione e giunti. Questa elevata quantità di varianti presenta requisiti particolari: componenti molto piccoli devono essere alimentati, posizionati e montati con precisione in uno spazio ristretto.
AS Automation combina l'esperienza acquisita con gli impianti a ciclo continuo e a ciclo lineare, per riunire in un unico impianto compatto diversi processi di assemblaggio. Dal montaggio del corpo base all'assemblaggio della forma dell'alloggiamento fino all'unione finale dei componenti.
Un elemento fondamentale di questa soluzione è il sistema integrato MCS (Modular Conveyor System) di Festo. Grazie ai movimenti controllati dal percorso dei portapezzi, la movimentazione può essere sincronizzata perfettamente con i processi di assemblaggio.
Il risultato: processi più precisi, cicli più rapidi e prestazioni di lavorazione notevolmente migliorate. Inoltre, Festo fornisce un ampio kit di automazione – dagli azionamenti pneumatici agli assi elettrici e ai nuovi concetti di movimentazione come il T-Portal – che consente di progettare macchine modulari e scalabili.
The close collaboration between AS Automation, ABL and Festo began as early as the concept phase.
