On 13th July 2016 Eriks in conjunction with Festo held a Machine Safety Event at Festo GB Headquarters in Northampton.  This Event proved to be a great networking and educational opportunity for all of the 50 delegates attending many of whom were from leading organisations including Pirelli Tyres, Knauf, Renishaw, Warburtons and Ford.

The Water Cube Olympic swimming pool in Beijing and the walkable roller coaster Tiger & Turtle in Duisburg clearly show that the statics and shape of buildings have left the geometric limits of straight angles and parallel walls and ceilings a long way behind. Diverse organic shapes and bizarre-looking design – fantasies in the minds of designers and architects turned reality – are possible thanks to the methods of parametric design.

With the help of CAD systems, designers and architects can create and design products and buildings in virtual space.


The Big Bang 2016

Festo DJ robots prove to be a big hit at the Big Bang Event 2016!


Six leading food and drink manufacturers along with Festo teamed up to offer many exciting engineering activities to the 75,000 young visitors attending this year's Big Bang Fair at the NEC in Birmingham (16th - 19th March). The Big Bang Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths for young people in the UK.
