Festo presented at Laboratory Automation convention
Festo's Paul Kendall, Laboratory Automation Business Development Manager, recently presented an overview of developments for this vibrant sector.
Other presentations during the ELRIG event (European Laboratory Robotic Interest Group) hosted by Mitsubishi Electric at Hatfield included interesting applications from major pharmaceutical end users and a wide variety of supplier viewpoints.
Paul presented the way Festo's offer is developing from components to sub-systems and complete handling solutions. Key examples included the, soon to be released, kinematic mini H-handler, an ideal method for positioning assay plates or tubes and the telescopic fork handler with its extended reach for compact automation arrangement.
