It was a double win for Festo & Siemens who won two awards on the night: Most Innovative Automation System and Partnership of the Year. Although produced by two of the industry’s biggest players, it has the potential to help hundreds of SMEs to enjoy truly flexible automation”. The judges deemed it ‘excellent engineering and well integrated’. For the ‘Partnership of the Year’ award the judges said ‘This Multi-Carrier-System has been developed by two automation giants to allow machine builders the ultimate in flexibility, for the benefit of customers.

Over 400 industry leaders, government representatives and press came together at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on the evening of 27 September 2016 – the first night of the PPMA TOTAL Show – to see the winners of the PPMA Group Industry Awards 2016 revealed. The gala event was hosted by comedian and TV star Andy Parsons, ably assisted by Sky Sports News anchor Hayley McQueen.
