National Team Manager - Automotive Manufacturing Industry

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales Team as a National Team/Industry Segment Manager for the Automotive Manufacturing (AMI) Industry sector.  This role will be responsible for the strategic development of the AMI segment in accordance with the overall corporate strategy, and achievement of defined objectives whilst inspiring the team and providing them with professional leadership so as to achieve sales targets.

In order to be considered for the role, you will have either an Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering as a minimum, must be able to demonstrate success in leading and managing successful external sales teams, have experience of working in a relevant external sales role and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the AMI market sector within specific applications and future trends.

The ability to act as a sound role model and drive the AMI strategy forward is essential as are very strong communication skills.  In addition a good standard of coaching skills would be advantageous.

This is a national position (although ideally candidates will be centrally located) which is home based, therefore circumstances must allow for national travel, and the ability to function effectively from a home based office environment.  International travel will also be a requirement, as will the need for regular overnight stays.
