Festo were pleased to recenty host an event at our Northampton head office for Campden BRI - a research group for the Food and Drink industry who list almost all the major suppliers and retailers from this Industry Sector within the UK. This event was focussed on Camden BRI's Training and Education group and consisted of over 40 delegates primarily from HR and Learning and development roles within companies such as M&S, Sainsbury’s, Warburtons, Two Sisters Group and Greencore amongst others.
The group shares good practice and discusses the challenges facing their Industry. Key topics for this event were:
• VR as a tool for training courses
• use of personality profiles
• Employee engagement (which we presented on).
As hosts Festo were also able to demonstrate how we communicate change, drive engagement and company values and were really pleased to secure direct opportunities for our involvement in developing the Food and Drink Trailblazer for apprentices, energy efficiency workshops, strategy mapping and change management plus support in driving engagement levels. The Chair for the day was a globally recognised expert in people development, Lorne Jespersen, who, in her summary of the day stated that “you can “feel” the high level of engagement at Festo as soon as you enter the building”.
