TF Automation use Festo pneumatics


TF Automation's project brief was to replace a manual benchtop fixture with an automated process to increase production capacity for a customer manufacturing components for the automotive industry. The existing manual process was causing issues with limited production output and lack of consistency. The new machine, designed and manufactured completely in-house, uses Festo pneumatics with linear transfer escapement. More...

Festo were pleased to recenty host an event at our Northampton head office for Campden BRI -  a research group for the Food and Drink industry who list almost all the major suppliers and retailers from this Industry Sector within the UK. Festo held it's first Industry 4.0 Showcase event at it's Northampton HQ on 29th June. There was a combination of representatives from OEM and End-User customers, Catapult Centres and educational establishments. Year 7 DT students from Corby School visit Festo


We were pleased to welcome pupils from Corby Technical School recently to our Northampton head quarters. They are all studying Design Technology and volunteered for the trip as they were keen to see what an automation company does. They were excited by our DJ Robots and the dynamic displays in our exhibition rooms and enjoyed presentations on our Bionic R&D concepts. More...

On her tour of the Hannover Messe 2017 trade fair, Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel visited the Festo Booth D11 in Hall 15 on 24th April 2017. Festo is initiating the digitalisation of pneumatics with its breakthrough innovation Festo Motion Terminal, presented for the first time at the fair. It was the clear the group was bristling with budding engineers and they had been given a good grounding on STEM subjects.
