We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager working within the LifeTech Industry Sector, this role is home based and candidates would be ideally located North of Birmingham/Leicester in order to be considered.
The main responsibility of this role is to develop and manage the relationship between Festo and designated strategic accounts within LifeTech in order to maximise and secure the profitable sales of Festo’s products and services to achieve or exceed sales targets in line with our LifeTech and company strategies.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or ONC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and the ability to demonstrate success in a previous sales position. Successful candidates must have knowledge and experience of working with replicating OEMs/Special Purpose Machine Builders/End User Manufacturers with an emphasis towards automation solutions.
Experience of selling automation/control solutions into the LifeTech market (lab automation and medical devices) would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills enabling them to break into accounts and must be able to show that they have a sales ‘hunger’, the role also requires consistently self-motivated individuals who are commercially astute and are able to communicate well at all levels.
