Festo will be showing their CPX-IOT Gateway and MyDashboards at the Smart Factory Expo at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre on the 14th and 15th November 2018. The hardware and software combination provides fast and easy connectivity to the Festo cloud. Customers can view pre-configured dashboards for Festo products such as CPX-MPA valve manifolds and E2M energy management air supply modules.
This is the easiest way to get on-board with Industry 4.0 technology. It is easy to demonstrate concepts and quickly progress to real-time visualisation product status. This information enables manufacturing business KPIs such as OEE, asset management, preventative maintenance and faster-time-to-fix.
Festo has engaged with the Industry 4.0 initiative from its inception: as a user, manufacturer and trainer. Appointed by the German government as a member of the steering group the company has taken an active role in the definition of the core standards such as the RAMI model and the Administration Shell. Festo Didactic has also developed the Industry 4.0 Cyber-Physical Factory training hardware installed in many leading universities and training centres, as well as Industry 4.0 training courses covering the strategic overview for change managers and practical workshops for employees. Industry 4.0 technologies such as OPC-UA communications are embedded in the latest generation products.
