Our Multi-Channel Team currently has a vacancy for a Business Development Consultant. The role is home based and therefore candidates must be able to operate effectively from a home based environment. This is a national role but due to the account base, candidates would be ideally located in Leeds, Wakefiled, Bradford or Doncaster in order to cover the M62 corridor.
The main focus of this role is to develop and manage the relationship between Festo and designated accounts in order to maximise and secure the profitable sales of Festo’s products and services so as to achieve or exceed sales targets in line with company plans.
In order to be considered for the role, you will have a GNVQ, HND or be graduate level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, you will be able to demonstrate success in an external sales role and have achieved working towards an aggressive sales growth strategy.
Key account management, channel management or experience of working for a distributor would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate that they have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
