We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager in the Process Industry. Candidates must have the facilities to work effectively from a home-based environment and as the role is part of our clustering with Festo Ireland, personal circumstances must allow for national and occasional internal travel and overnight stays.
The main focus of this role is to acquire new business through becoming specified on projects or winning new accounts within the Process Industry.
In order to be considered for this role candidates must have an HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering as a minimum, be able to demonstrate previous success in an external sales role, have experience of working within the process industry with the confidence to credibly discuss ATEX with customers and have sold to OEMs.
To be successful in this job you individuals need to be self-motivated and able to remain enthusiastic through sometimes long lead times with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across multi-skilled teams.
There is no fully defined customer portfolio yet and therefore ideally candidates should be centrally located, however, we will consider other geographical locations in England providing there are good transport links available.
