Festo's Global Purchasing Network is at the interface between business and technology. The network is responsible for supplying the company with production materials, commercial goods as well as capital goods and services. It consists of Global Purchasing Headquarters in Germany and the international Festo Purchasing Units in Brazil, Bulgaria, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, India, Switzerland, the Ukraine and the USA.

Our requirements

You have completed an initial course in a technical subject. You ideally already have professional experience in technical purchasing or quality assurance. Your strengths include a readiness to travel, curiosity about other cultures, a command of the English language that allows you to conduct negotiations with confidence, and a good knowledge of MS Office and SAP. These strengths are complemented by excellent communications skills, persuasiveness, assertiveness and negotiating skills.

We offer you a varied range of activities in international and cross-departmental teams with optimum support right from day one. You will be responsible for the continuous optimisation of Festo's supplier management system in order to safeguard the company's supply chain. You will work at a central interface between the company's commercial and technological areas and will keep a constant eye on costs, quality and availability.
