Rispetto ai rulli, le piastre a cuscino d'aria consentono un trasporto virtualmente senza contatto dei moduli e sono quindi ideali per il trasporto dopo la fase di giunzione.

Appositi binari tengono sospesi i moduli e un sensore distanza aria misura l'altezza. Un'unità intelligente di preparazione dell'aria compressa garantisce un'adeguata efficienza energetica

Laser structuring on air bearing tables

Air bearings are revolutionising the laser process by generating an air cushion that brings the substrate into a floating position. Linear motor axes optimised for this purpose with parallel grippers guide it precisely through the laser beam.

Transporting coated glass modules practically without contact with solutions from Festo

Substrate transport on air bearing tables

The coated substrates are "floating" as the air bearings transport them virtually contactless through the process. Special suction cups hold the glass without leaving any residue while electric drives control the movement.
