The team in which you will be working is responsible for the SAP Release and Test Management and IT Change Management in general. Together we ensure the successful implementation of changes in our IT systems and their stable operation. You, as a QA Engineer, contribute to the quality and success of Festo’s regular SAP ERP releases. In your daily duties for test automation, you will use SAP Solution Manager.

The Software Packaging (SWP) Specialist will work within a virtual based environment to automate management of applications by creating software packages.

SWP Specialist will follow customer specific processes and standards and will be responsible for delivering service according to the agreed quality and within the allowed timeframes.
SWP Specialist will work in the software lifecycle and software deployment team in order to manage customer software pilots and rollouts.

 

Your daily work day will look like

  • Creation, maintenance and update Software packages within the Festo internal software distribution environment (SCCM)
  • Development of customized application packages.
  • Compatibility testing of applications and packages.
  • Repackaging and converting of legacy setups into the msi Format.
