Supplier Quality Development Specialist
Workplace: Janki

 

Tasks

 

Cooperation with global suppliers for Festo entities Europe East.

  • Planning and implementation of preventive Q-methods (Advanced Quality Planning) in customer-specific projects to ensure part quality at supplier
  • Ensuring the implementation of project requirements at suppliers
  • Perception of the interface with global suppliers and project team to achieve the project goals
  • Participation in project meetings, support in the compilation of supplier load lists and status reports
  • Agreement with suppliers regarding pre-production and initial sample report
  • Participate at potential analysis of suppliers
  • Implementation of supplier audits within the scope of supplier release and in case of complaint
  • Systematic evaluation of suppliers using Supplier Rating System (SRS)
  • Management of supplier improvement and supplier development projects
  • Implementation of optimization projects in the context of continuous improvement (CIP)

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years+ experience in managing of supplier quality activities
  • Technically oriented study or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Knowledge in the application of quality methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, complaint management)
  • Knowledge of specific industry standard requirements e.g. Medicine/Semicon
  • Ideally auditor training (e.g. VDA 6.3) and knowledge in quality norm ISO 9001
  • Knowledge in metrology methods
  • Fluent in English, German if possible
  • Willingness to go on international business trips
  • Intercultural communication skills and coping with conflict situations
  • Independency and project-orientation
  • Autonomy and assertiveness
  • Knowledge of ERP system and MS Office
