Hahn Automation

MultifunctionsLab

In light of the skilled labor shortage in the region, Hahn Automation GmbH has made the strategic decision to expand its training department. The goal of this initiative is to train qualified young talent directly within the company and to create a stable base of skilled workers in the long term. By specifically developing and expanding the training structures, the current shortage of skilled workers will not only be addressed, but the sustainable assurance of operational expertise and competitiveness will also be ensured.

As part of the project, the equipment of the training department has been comprehensively planned. In addition to a trainer's office, a multifunctional lab, rooms for mechanical and manual material processing, a makerspace, and two exhibition areas have also been designed. These new facilities are intended to enable a practical and modern training approach that encompasses both theoretical and practical learning systems.

The didactic concept - the implementation

In the modern training facilities, aspiring skilled workers are trained in the professions of electrician and mechatronics technician. The rooms are specifically tailored to the requirements of these two technical professions and provide ideal learning conditions. The multifunctional lab and the areas for manual material processing are each equipped for 28 trainees. This ensures practical training in small groups, allowing for individual support and optimal access to the necessary working materials. The project includes advanced technologies from the fields of electrical engineering and mechatronics. Here, the trainees can not only acquire fundamental knowledge but also learn modern techniques and applications in the areas of automation and electronics.

Equipment Highlights:

  • TecDesign concept with an innovative ceiling system
  • LearnCubix module for flexible and modern learning methods
  • Multifunctional lab and manual material processing, each for 28 students

Customer Benefits:

The use of innovative technologies promotes the development of practical skills and optimally prepares students for the job market. A unique feature of the project is the TecDesign concept, which is equipped with a special ceiling system and the LearnCubix module. These modern teaching methods not only provide an innovative spatial design but also create an effective and flexible learning environment that benefits both instructors and trainees.
