Upgrade of our “Contact Festo” button
The "Contact Festo" button has been replaced with the new "Display in Catalog" button, so you can get more information about the product.

No more tedious typing of the part number, type code or product key. - Simply take a picture of the type plate or upload it!
Product label recognition (type label via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and product key with Data Matrix Code (DMC)) is now enabled in the spare parts catalogue!

The landing page has been redesigned (to achieve better search engine optimization results).

If a position needs to be ordered as an accessory from the main catalog, a link to the accessories list for that position will be provided, see for example 552940 position 11:
Previously - when entering e.g. 5755 - 575500, 575501 etc. were found first. From now on 5755 will be displayed first, i.e. the entered part number will always be displayed first.
We have a new cookie and cookie settings dialog:
The modification aid is only for valve terminals and service units MSB. From now on, an error is displayed when calling with other parts: An error is also displayed if the BOM is not available for the requested product.

When searching for a part number with a fixed order code, the message "Please search with product key or order code" together with the order code was displayed. From now on, the search is carried out directly with this order code, see for example 595249:
This also applies when searching multiple parts, see for example 53397:
When searching with an order code that has a fixed and a configurable part number assigned to it, the spare parts of both parts are displayed directly, see for example MSB4-AGC:J5:F14:D1:A1:F14-WP-Z:
More than two repair hints are possible now.
If the user mistakenly searches for a spare part instead of a real part, a corresponding result is displayed, see for example 240992:
When the call comes from the Online sales platform (OSP = internal shop for the technical advisor), spare parts are placed in the correct shopping basket. The links to the accessories have also been adapted accordingly.
Search results have been improved for confidential data.

A search is successful even if the order code is incomplete. If no part was found before when entering, for example, DNC-125-123, now 25 parts are found:
A search is also successful without a separating minus in the order code. If no part was found before when entering, for example, DSNU32, now 96 parts are found:
Parts with spare parts are listed first. Previously, when entering e.g. CRDSNU, the parts with 'Repair not possible' were found first, now the parts for which 'Show spare parts' is possible are listed first.
