Each system module represents an individual process step with specific training content based on actual production. Thanks to the individual options for combinations, MPS 400 provides an optimum solution for training plans and requirements for a wide range of vocational professions and positions.

A strong software landscape

FactoryViews is our new central software portal that gives students, researchers and teaching staff access to all software modules for our training and research factories in industrial automation. The software ecosystem is perfectly tailored to the needs of learning and teaching and covers the software side of subjects including production, mechatronics, automation and Industry 4.0. It is a hub and support for easy access to MES4, an educational workshop and many more applications that can be individually integrated and configured.

    The Robotino 4 system module makes integrating mobile robotics into lessons easy with MPS 400 systems, giving students the opportunity to understand and take advantage of material flows in production.
  • Machine safety
    The additional machine safety package can be used to illustrate common safety devices for modern machinery and learn using practical examples. This allows doors with safety relays and light curtains to be integrated into systems.
  • Energy monitoring
    Energy monitoring is a training topic that can be taught using the energy measurement unit with industry sensors for measuring power and compressed air consumption. This helps students to understand energy requirements in production and how to optimise them.

    Cyber threats constitute expensive risks for industry and are constantly on the rise. The additional IT security package allows students to develop the relevant IT security skills that can be applied in the production environment.
