The excellent control precision of the dart valves is the key to achieving optimum results in the flotation process. This ensures a constant froth level – and thus a higher yield. Festo offers three options for the automation of flotation cells in order to optimally separate fine ore and high-quality sulphide ores such as copper, copper-molybdenum and platinum group metals from the gangue.

The limit switch box SRBG is a flexible and versatile solution when it
comes to the optical position indication and electrical position sensing
of automated or manually actuated process valves. They can be
easily and directly mounted without other accessories, and require
minimal space.

Preconfigured from stock or individually configured? The new,

double-acting linear actuator DFPC can be both. It has been

specially designed for actuating process valves such as gate valves

or knife-gate valves, pinch valves or valve bodies without housing.

Perfect, for example, for the requirements in water and wastewater

treatment, the mining industry, power stations as well as

the paper, pulp and steel industries.

The new linear actuator DFPI is equipped for a wide range of applications thanks to ISO 15552, an optionally integrated positioner or an integrated displacement encoder, and an optimised guide rod for swivel motions.

With the PA-Toolkit from Festo, implementing the automation logic of process engineering units and modules is really intuitive. You can also use the library for CODESYS to program applications without the need for more in-depth programming expertise. This is ideal for automating modular systems according to the MTP standard, which requires a separate controller for each system module.

The heavy-duty pinch valve is ideal for use with abrasive or corrosive

fl uids, pastes, pulps, powders, or media with a high solids content.

Its high performance, extremely low wear, and long service life in

open and close mode as well as in proportional control applications

make it very suitable for use in mineral processing, in the cement

and construction industry, in iron and steel production, in metallurgy

and foundries, or in aluminium production.

Thanks to their improved design and the integration of several control functions in one component you can save valuable installation space. And gain more time and reliability during commissioning.

The VTOP is ideal for control applications with positioner and additional
instrumentation. The pneumatic extension modules facilitate a complete setup, without tedious searches for components and time-consuming installation, and thus greatly simplify maintenance. The new installation concept VTOP with patented, integrated air routing allows you to combine the individual modules you need, and easily retrofit other modules at any time.

NPQP is FDA compliant. Not only that, it also offers a high level of process security as it is resistant to chemicals, approved for use with food, light and transparent. This makes it an inexpensive alternative to stainless steel fittings for the food and beverage industry, biotechnology/pharmaceuticals, medical technology, clean rooms and process automation.

In corrosive atmospheres or extreme temperatures from -60 °C to +80 °C, the extremely robust filter regulator PCRP performs well, offering high flow rates and reliable pressure control. The housing and interior are entirely made of premium stainless steel to ensure high corrosion resistance. The PCRP series is available in sizes ¼" and ½" with G or NPT threads.

The newly optimised positioner CMSX for single- and double-acting linear and quarter turn actuators is as economical as it is reliable. It is the top performer in its class in the non-explosive area. Its extra features include an excellent price/performance ratio, energy-efficient operation, high  process reliability thanks to analogue or digital feedback signals and definable safety positions.

The DFPD-C and DFPD-C-VDE2 are well equipped for the chemical
industry. Both versions have hard-anodised end caps, blow-outproof
adjusting screws for the end position, shaft centring ring and captive spring cartridges that are free of non-ferrous metals. Furthermore the DFPD-C-VDE2 has a supply port on top for easy assembly of a manifold block with NAMUR interface to VDI/VDE 3847-2. With these options they will set a new benchmark for quarter turn actuators in the chemical sector.

DFPD-HD is the latest addition to the quarter turn actuator range DFPD. With torque up to 32,000 Nm, the Scotch yoke actuator is ideal for on/off and closed-loop control of ball valves, air dampers and butterfly valves in power plants, the chemical industry and in water treatment applications. It is the perfect choice whenever safe, reliable solutions are required.

Servo up to 40 bar

The CMSH provides you with all the benefits of a highly dynamic,
low-wear positioning system with high air output and a long service
life. You now only need one device for the fast and precise control of
actuators, whether large or small, linear or rotary, single-acting
or double-acting. Together with the low internal air consumption, this
reduces costs. Featuring 2-wire technology, HART communication,
condition monitoring functions and a modular system with many variants,
the CMSH offers excellent flexibility for a great number of
applications.

Combine maximum standardisation with the greatest possible

flexibility. The standardised ATEX control cabinet YCCP saves time

and money through maximum standardisation of your system

components. The cabinets are approved for zone 2 (3GD), while the

integrated, modular terminal CPX as a remote I/O ensures a high

level of flexibility.
