  • IO-Link data storage handling and establishment of communication were improved in relation to the usage of some affected masters

  • Firmware-Update / parameter set transfer functionality added (IO-Link)
  • "Intermediate position" functionality added (only IO-Link: cyclic and acyclic device data, SystemCommands)
  • "Auto Store Active" mechanism for activating/deactivating automatic saving of parameters in flash memory added (IO-Link). Plus additional display of the number of performed storage operations "Storage parameters".
    Solves problem that frequent changes to individual parameters can lead to a device defect.
  • Quit Error by DI-combination 1-1 added (identical for DIO & IO-Link).
    Solves problem that error in DIO-mode can only be quitted by logic power cycle.
  • Variable "Error Code" added (shows eventcode on HMI in a readable version also in  IO-Link)
  • New events added for error in intermediate circuit, during parameter set transfer and during FW-update.
  • Addition of DataStorage parameter list by parameters for intermediate position and IO-Link tags (Application specific Tag, Function Tag, Location Tag)
  • Two new system commands added for executing reference movement with end position detection.
    Combines the reference movement with end position detection, which had to be executed by 2 separate parameters up to now, in one system command.
  • Behaviour of actuator changed: Current movement is stopped, when HMI (Pushbuttons) are pressed and HMI-menu is opened.

Fixed bugs:

  • Change of behaviour when entering value "0" for the 3 position parameters.
  • Minor bugfixes.

Others:

  • Behaviour in IO-Link mode changed: Values for position "Start Press" and "Intermediate Position" are overwritten with the new value of parameter "End Position Out" and reduced to this value, if their values are higher than the new value of "End Position Out".
  • Added dynamic adaption of correction velocity. Applies only in case of tracking error.
  • Change / dynamic adoption of structure of internal data model.
  • Renewal of IO-Link-Stack regarding data transfer function and integration of improvements.
  • Continuous Integration: Continuous adaption to further development of Festo automation platform.
  • Minor improvements in code.
