The CODESYS extension offers the option of adding devices as virtual controllers (“Soft PLC”) in a Festo Automation Suite project.

The CODESYS extension provides additional devices in the topology editor catalogue.

The ‘Controllers’ – ‘CODESYS’ virtual controllers are displayed in the catalogue of the topology editor.

  1. Insert the virtual controller in Topology Editor just like a normal device.

  2. Double-clicking the inserted controller starts the CODESYS user interface and adds the device to the CODESYS project.
