Current plug-ins support opening directly in CODESYS ⮫ Displaying CODESYS window instead of the integrated ‘Programming’ context.
In older versions of the CPX plug-in, the CODESYS version selected at startup could be displayed in the ‘Programming’ context directly in the CPX plug-in.

Navigator
The navigator displays the relevant section of the ‘devices’ or ‘device tree’ for the displayed device in the original CODESYS tree.
Control devices, their connected field devices and related program parts are shown in the navigator as objects in a tree structure.
If the plug-in is connected to a device, status icons of the device and of the slave devices are also displayed. In addition, a green background is applied to the device name and the application and the status of the application (run/stop) is displayed.
The objects of the tree structure can be opened for processing with a double-click. Processing itself takes place in the work area. Additional commands are available in the context menu.
Connection controller
The connection controller enables the plug-in to be connected to the device. If the plug-in is connected to a device, the contents displayed in the work area are switched over into an online view. The control program can only be processed while disconnected.
Toolbar
The toolbar contains frequently used commands for the online and offline modes. The
toolbar commands are dependent on the connection status. The CODESYS menu
provides access to additional commands.
