The ‘Repositories’ backstage panel enables access to the following dialogues of the CODESYS version used in the ‘CODESYS’ section:

  • ‘Library Repository’ for managing CODESYS libraries.

  • ‘Device Repository’ for managing devices that are not available in the topology editor of the Festo Automation Suite.

  • ‘Package Manager’ for installing, uninstalling and managing packages.

    Call up Backstage section.

    Open ‘Repositories’ menu option.

    The ‘Repositories’ panel is displayed. The ‘Plug-ins’ entry is active.

  3. Open ‘CODESYS’ entry.

    After starting the Festo Automation Suite, it may take a few minutes until the buttons are available, because the Festo Automation Suite is already ready for use, but CODESYS has not yet been fully initialised in the background.

  4. Press the ‘Library Repository’, ‘Device Repository’ or ‘Package Manager’ button.

    The ‘Device Repository’ window of the currently used CODESYS version is opened.
