If a connection between the bus interface and a controller is planned in the ‘Topology Editor’ section of the Festo Automation Suite (e.g. via EtherCAT), the CODESYS editors belonging to the device are available in the plug-in. If a bus interface in the ‘Topology Editor’ section is copied or the device is cut from the network and pasted at another position, the previous settings are retained in the CODESYS editors.
The device is named according to the device name in the project. If CODESYS characters of the name assigned in the Festo Automation Suite for the device are not supported, the characters are replaced by an underscore.
The device properties can be opened and the device deactivated and reactivated using buttons in the panel title bar.
