Identification
If an invalid value is entered in an input field, the border of the input field is highlighted in colour. The adorner has the same colour.

Invalid values are not saved when saving the project but are lost.
Display of errors and warnings
If warnings or errors for parameters of a module are pending, the number of warnings or errors is displayed in the ‘Parameterization’ context. The display of errors has priority.

Automatic correction
The plug-in corrects user entries in the event of transfer errors or if values have to be rounded off.
In the event of a transmission error the adorner is identified with an error symbol. The value in the input field is automatically reset to the value specified by the device. If an input value is automatically changed, rounded up or rounded down by the plug-in, the adorner is marked with an information symbol.
