Prerequisite: the device is visible in the list of available devices.

  1. Proceed according to one of the following options:

    • Select the device and move the slider in the ‘Identify’ column to the right.

    • Right-click on the device to open the context menu and select ‘_Identify Device’.

    An identification mechanism (device-dependent) is activated on the selected device (e.g. flashing LED). The identification mechanism remains active until it is deactivated again.
