Recordings can be exported in different formats or copied directly to the clipboard in the ‘Trace Display’ in the ‘Diagnosis’ context.
Exporting recording as FMD file (Festo measurement data)
FMD files contain all data of the recording, including the configuration data of the user-defined channels.

Select the ‘Save as FMD’ command in the context menu of the recording name or in the title bar of the working section.
A dialogue box will open to save the file.
Exporting recording as CSV file (Comma-separated values)
CSV files can be further processed with external programs or imported into older versions of the plug-in. CSV files do not contain configuration data of the user-defined channels.

Select the ‘Save as CSV’ command in the context menu of the recording name or in the title bar of the working section.
A dialogue box will open to save the file.
Copying recording to the clipboard (CSV)

Select the ‘Copy to clipboard’ command in the context menu of the recording name.
The recording is copied to the clipboard in CSV format.
Exporting the recording as an image

Select the recording name so that the recording is shown in the graph section.

Select the ‘Export Chart as Image’ command in the context menu of the graph section or in the title bar of the working section.
A dialogue box will open to save the file.

Select the recording so that this is shown in the graph section.

Select the ‘Copy chart to clipboad’ command in the context menu of the graph section.
The image is copied to the clipboard.
