Adding parameters

In edit mode you can add any additional device parameters with the ‘Add parameter’ button.

The ‘Watch List’ can contain a maximum of 20 parameters. The Festo_icon_settings_32-g button is only active if the maximum number of parameters has not yet been reached.

  1. Open the ‘Watch List’ in the right sidebar.

  2. Switch the ‘Watch List’ to edit mode with the Festo_icon_settings_32-g button.

  3. Click the ‘Add parameter’ button.

    The pop-up for adding a parameter opens.

    A direct search for a device parameter can be made in the search field with the ID, name or the description.

  4. Select the category of the device parameter.

  5. Select one or more device parameters from the list.

    Use the multiple selection options with the mouse in combination with [Ctrl] or with [Shift] to select multiple device parameters simultaneously.

  6. Click the ‘Apply’ button.

    One or more real-time values are added depending on the number of selected parameters. No more than the maximum allowable number of recording channels is created in this process. The selection of existing parameters is ignored.

  7. Changes can be reset with the ‘Reset watch list’ Festo_icon_reset_32-g button in edit mode.

  8. Finally, confirm the changes with the ‘Apply’ button or reject them with the ‘Cancel’ button.

    The ‘Watch List’ edit mode is closed.

Parameters can also be added to the watchlist with a button in the adorner . If the maximum number of parameters in the ‘Watch List’ is reached, the button is inactive.

Sorting parameters

  1. Open the ‘Watch List’ in the right sidebar.

  2. Switch the ‘Watch List’ to edit mode with the Festo_icon_settings_32-g button.

  3. The parameters can be sorted as desired by drag-and-drop with the mouse.

  4. Confirm the changes with the ‘Apply’ button or discard them with the ‘Cancel’ button.

    The ‘Watch List’ edit mode is closed.

Deleting parameters from the watch list

  1. Open the ‘Watch List’ in the right sidebar.

  2. Switch the ‘Watch List’ to edit mode with the Festo_icon_settings_32-g button.

  3. Select the parameters to be deleted and delete them with the bin_2 button.

  4. Confirm the changes with the ‘Apply’ button or discard them with the ‘Cancel’ button.

    The ‘Watch List’ edit mode is closed.

Scaling font size

  1. Open the ‘Watch List’ in the right sidebar.

  2. Use the slider below the list to increase or decrease the display of parameter values.

    Double-clicking on the percentage resets the scaling back to 100%.
