Requirement: the network settings of the communication interface (IP address, subnet mask and, if applicable, gateway) are set in the device and plug-in so a connection with the IO‑Link device can be established via the connected IO‑Link master.

  1. Click the ‘Connect’ button.

    Device configuration and parameters of plug-in and device are checked (⮫ Synchronised data) and the following actions are executed:

    • The plug-in is connected to the device via the specified address.

    • The plug-in and device data are synchronised.

    • The connection status is updated.

    The plug-in updates the data cyclically when the connection is active.
