One or more devices can be selected in the topology editor and then copied, pasted or deleted. This enables the required topology of the IO‑Link system to be mapped.
Single device

Click on the device with the mouse.
The device is highlighted.
Multiple devices with frames

In the ‘topology editor’ click on the background in front of the devices and press and hold the left [mouse button].

Drag the mouse pointer to create a frame around the devices and release the [mouse button].
All devices inside the frame have been selected.
Multiple devices with the [Shift] key pressed

Press and hold the [Shift] key and click on the devices in succession to select them.
