Saving process data in the device

In the ‘Diagnosis’ context, open the ‘Command Line’ panel.

If necessary, connect to the device .

Enter the corresponding values in the ‘Write outputs’ field in hexadecimal notation.
Separate multiple values with commas.

Click the ‘Write’ button.
The new values are transmitted to the device.
Read parameter values

In the ‘Diagnosis’ context, open the ‘Command Line’ panel.

If necessary, connect to the device .

In order to define the parameter that is to be read, first select the notation type for index and subindex:

HEX = hexadecimal notation

DEC = decimal notation
-

Enter the index and subindex of the parameter in the selected notation type. If there is no subindex, enter the value "0" in the ‘Subindex’ field.

Click the ‘Write’ button.
The current value of the parameter is displayed and the response of the device is displayed in the ‘Timestamp’ window section.
Saving parameter values in the device

In the ‘Diagnosis’ context, open the ‘Command Line’ panel.

If necessary, connect to the device .

In order to define the parameter that is to be saved, first select the notation type for index and subindex:

HEX = hexadecimal notation

DEC = decimal notation

Enter the index and subindex of the parameter in the selected notation type. If there is no subindex, enter the value "0" in the ‘Subindex’ field.

Enter the number of bytes of the new parameter value in the ‘Bytes’ field.

Enter the new parameter value in hexadecimal notation in the ‘Data’ field.

Click the ‘Write’ button.
The new value is sent to the device and the response of the device is displayed in the ‘Timestamp’ window section.
