  1. In the ‘Parameterization’ context, open the ‘IO-Link’ panel.

  2. Disconnect from the device if necessary ⮫ Disconnect.

  3. Select the version of the device description file with ‘IODD version’.

  4. If a version is not yet installed in the Festo Automation Suite repository, click the ‘Install now’ link in the corresponding message and install the version.

  5. Connect to the device again if necessary ⮫ Connect to device.

    The IODD version of the device has changed.
