Condensate drain

Condensate drains play a vital role in the effective preparation of compressed air by removing unwanted moisture that can accumulate during compression and distribution. By ensuring that condensate is efficiently drained, these devices help maintain the integrity of the system, enhance reliability, and reduce the risk of operational issues. Available in various configurations, including manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic options, condensate drains can be tailored to meet the specific needs of different applications, making them an essential component of any compressed air system.

Condensate drain variants

Available in four variants as part of a filter, filter regulator or water separator:

  • Manual: condensate is drained manually
  • Semi-automatic/normally open: opens as soon as the compressed air is shut off
  • Fully-automatic/normally open: opens as soon as the compressed air is shut off or a specified level reached
  • Fully-automatic/normally closed: opens as soon as the compressed air is switched on and a specified level is reached
