General info about work experience placements for school students

What happens on a work experience placement?

Your work experience placement should make it easier for you to decide upon a future career. During your placement you will be able to get insights into the everyday work involved in specific jobs through our training workshops and departments. You’ll also be able to shadow our trainees, carry out basic tasks yourself and get to know the business. While here, you’ll be looked after by our instructors and training coordinators, as well as by our trainees and students.

What kind of work experience placements does Festo offer for school students?

We offer a wide range of different placements. For instance, it all depends on whether you’d like to get a taster of the technical or the commercial side of things. On the linked pages you will find lots of information about our business management and technical placements. We also offer traineeships for retraining purposes and our entry-level qualification year.

Can I do a one-day placement?

No, we do not offer this option.
