Digitisation is penetrating the whole automation pyramid including process automation. From 11 to 15 June 2018 at ACHEMA in Frankfurt am Main, we will be presenting our new product highlights, innovative automation concepts and the latest from the area of SupraMotion and the Bionic Learning Network.
ACHEMA is a global forum and leading international trade fair for the process industry. The most important trade fair for the industry takes place every three years in Frankfurt am Main. ‘Not only can we present our solutions here, but also discuss new approaches and ideas with customers and international experts,’ says Dr Hans Eckhard Roos, Head of Industry Segment and Global Key Account Management, Process Industries, about the significance of the exhibition for Festo.
On two of our own stands and a joint stand, among other things we will be presenting the whole range of products and services along the entire automation pyramid especially for the process industry.
In Hall 8, Stand C72, visitors will get to know clever ways surrounding the automation of process valves. We will be presenting the following product highlights among others: the DFPD semi-rotary drive, the VZXA angle seat valve, the MSE6-E2M energy efficiency module and the VZQA pinch valve.
In Hall 11, Stand E27, the focus will be on groundbreaking control and automation concepts. Festo shows how intelligent components and systems communicate with each other and how the Internet of Things (IoT) can make these even more transparent. Another highlight is integrated and optimised control cabinet solutions with the modular CPX-E control system and the universal VTUG valve terminal.
In Hall 9.2, Stand D41, Festo is represented on the ZVEI joint stand under the theme ‘Process Industry 4.0 – the age of modular production’, where it will show what the automation of modular production plants can look like.
Apart from that, you can look forward to the following exhibition highlights:
Pneumatics go digital. At ACHEMA, Festo will show off the Festo Motion Terminal for the first time with special applications for the process industry. On show in Hall 8, Stand C72, and Hall 11, Stand E27.
Bionic Learning Network
Festo will present a new project from the Bionic Learning Network to the public for the first time at ACHEMA. Be prepared for a surprise in Hall 11, Stand E27.
A new concept using superconductor technology: contactless scales, as would be useful in safety workbenches used in biological or chemical analysis, for example.
