Our integrated study programme in one of five available subjects will prepare you for the demands of the modern high-tech job market. And you’ll acquire valuable practical experience along the way, from your very first semester onwards.

Electrical engineering – bachelor of engineering (BEng)

Do you have a keen interest in technology and above-average marks in mathematics and physics? Are you good at working independently and on your own initiative, and can you cooperate effectively with others? Then you meet the essential requirements for an integrated course at the Duale Hochschule Stuttgart and the practical placements at Esslingen am Neckar. As an electrical engineer, you will be in charge of innovations for our products, facilities and systems. You will oversee these from the initial idea to the production stage – with the highest standards of quality and precision.

  • Duration of study: Three years/six semesters

Computer science – bachelor of science (BSc)/bachelor of engineering (BEng)

Computer science is the future. Want to solve problems at the interface between technical applications and computer systems? Keen to design models for controlling processes and reproduce these in IT systems? Every year we offer integrated computer science degree course places in conjunction with the Duale Hochschule Stuttgart.

Mechanical engineering – bachelor of engineering (BEng)

Want to gain practical experience with the latest production engineering during your degree? You can apply the theoretical knowledge you acquire at your vocational university in our global production centre, the largest of its kind in the world, during your integrated mechanical engineering degree course. As a mechanical engineer you will optimise processes and plan and organise entire production processes at the plant. You will learn to solve internal management and control problems. At the same time we also cover aspects of business psychology, occupational science and business administration. This is certainly an exciting and wide-ranging discipline.

  • Duration of study: Three years/six semesters
  • Course begins: October, following a two-month pre-study placement (St. Ingbert-Rohrbach)
  • School-leaving qualifications: General or subject-specific qualification for admission to higher education
  • Requirements: Joined-up thinking, ability to concentrate, a high level of commitment, excellent maths skills*
  • Training locations: St. Ingbert-Rohrbach (Saarland) and ASW-Berufsakademie Saarland e.V. in Neunkirchen**

Mechatronics – bachelor of engineering (BEng)

If you’re looking for a practical and versatile degree programme that allows you to really use your creativity and technical expertise, you’ve come to the right place. Technical development is seeing the increasing integration of mechanical and electronic elements. Coupled with programmable intelligence, mechatronics technicians will find this an extensive and challenging work environment. Your scientific studies will take place at the Duale Hochschule Stuttgart. Subsequently you will be able to apply your knowledge in fields including system solutions, development and materials management.

Industrial engineering – bachelor of engineering (BEng)

Interested in both business and technical topics? Your skills are needed in many business areas, especially production, process development, logistics, quality management, purchasing, finance and controlling, product management and sales. Industrial engineers plan, review and improve working processes across all sectors for technical efficiency and maximum economic efficiency. Candidates need a high level of initiative and enthusiasm both for technology and for working with others. Gain practical experience in Esslingen am Neckar and study at the Duale Hochschule Stuttgart, or alternatively in St. Ingbert-Rohrbach and the ASW-Berufsakademie Saarland in Neunkirchen.

  • Duration of study: Three years/six semesters
