Electronics technicians for devices and systems

Want to know how electric motors work and where specific motors are used? Interested in finding out how electric and electronic modules are assembled and incorporated into device technology? We have a home for your curiosity. This vocational training programme is for real innovators and those who like to tinker with technology. From micro-electronics to power engineering, you can enjoy hands-on experience while learning everything you will need to know as an electronics technician for devices and systems. Industrial mechanic

Industrial mechanics are required in production, quality management, control engineering, development and customer service – in short, everywhere that calls for precision down to the hundredth of a millimetre. Mechatronics technician

Technical product designer, machine and facility construction

Do you love designing and creating things? Is careful and precise work one of your strengths? Do you have particularly good spatial awareness? Then this is the right vocational training programme for you. Our technical product designers use the designs developed by our engineers and design engineers to create their own drawings of the individual components. Parts are made on the basis of these and used to assemble whole modules. During your training you will learn how to build things using CAD applications, carry out computer simulations and much more, so that you will later be able to take on full-scale tasks.

Cutting machine operator

Technical skills and a very good concentration span are an absolute must for cutting machine operators. Your work will require utter precision to the thousandth of a millimetre. The many different shapes and sizes of the pieces constantly present new challenges. During your vocational training you will learn how to write the necessary programs on modern, computer-controlled machines, and how to produce components using these. Warehouse specialist

Are you keen on grappling with problems, good at organisation and can keep a cool head during a hectic workday? Then you’re exactly the kind of person we need. A warehouse specialist carries out a variety of tasks, so the job requires a real talent for organisation. During your training you will learn about the logistics processes relating to our production and how to store goods in an organised way, sort them properly and deliver them on time. A smoothly running warehouse and quick delivery are the ultimate priorities for any company.

  • Duration of training: 2 years
  • School-leaving qualifications: at least a good general school-leaving certificate
  • Requirements: must like tackling problems and enjoy organising things and dealing with IT; physical fitness.

Process engineer for plastics and rubber technology

Above all else, the training to become a process engineer is highly diverse. You will pass through all the relevant areas at our new, modern polymer competence centre in St. Ingbert-Hassel – from the production process and mould construction to product testing, fabrication, assembly as well as repairs. Your colleagues in the different areas of the business will be happy to help you familiarise yourself with the various areas of responsibility. Within a short space of time, you will gain thorough insight into the individual areas, supported by the very latest production and testing technologies.

Moulding tool technician

Tool technicians are true professionals that are indispensable to a company such as Festo.
With the help of state-of-the-art technology and skilled instructors, in this training course you will learn how to manufacture metal components and to assemble, maintain and repair tools. If you have manual skills and a keen sense of perception, and if precision work comes naturally to you, you should apply for this training course.
